#317 closed defect (fixed)

GA MC main species consolidated into one solute

Reported by: titus_franzmann Owned by: gegorbet
Priority: normal Milestone: future
Component: ultrascan3 Version:

Description (last modified by demeler)

I believe this has been fixed in a recent update (>1199) that treats similar solutes no longer as a single solute by combining them into a single solute, but instead correctly calculating their statistics, however small the deviation may be. Gary will be able to confirm this. If so, please close the ticket.

Replying to titus_franzmann:

I have noticed multiple times, that the MC results in which there is one predominant signal and some minor noise or contaminants, the noise and contaminants yield multiple results from which statistics can be calculated. However the main signal comes basically back as one sharp, defined species, and the statistics files says, this solute as too few (I forgot) in order to calculate statistics.
I learned from Borries, that this might be the case when the iterations of the dominant signal result in very similar values that they might get combined into one solute by the current US3 version and might already have been addressed. I still wanted to report the issue just in case. This is on Windows US33 1196.
